GreenMount provides an investment fund platform for investors to invest in Private Capital and Venture Capital, providing access to co-investment opportunities alongside proven Australian and New Zealand fund managers that investors may not otherwise be able to gain exposure to (many top tier funds are closed to new investors). Our Funds apply a multi-manager co-investment model without the complexity of multiple manager relationships.

We access a significant number of the investment opportunities via the GreenMount Advisory deal origination activities, leveraging our Advisory business' enduring client base of leading private equity fund managers and family offices and an extensive professional network of advisors and strategic alliances that provide advantaged deal flow. Our GreenMount Capital team also has strong relationships with private market managers across New Zealand, providing another source of deal flow both for private equity and venture capital opportunities.

The Co-Investment Fund will seek to invest $2.5m – $7.5m per investment, alongside larger lead co-investors that are top tier Australian and New Zealand private equity sponsors. It will target mid-market growth and buy-out companies with EVs between $25m – $150m, primarily with an economic link to New Zealand (either a New Zealand based business or an Australian business with existing or planned New Zealand operations).

This provides a diversified portfolio in terms of both portfolio company sectors but also investment manager style (e.g. buyout, turnaround), with GreenMount Capital’s own thorough due diligence process overlaid.

The Fund is industry/sector agnostic subject to the following sector exclusions: Gambling, Prisons, Tobacco, Sex industry, Controversial weapons, Real assets in property or agriculture.
